Anna Nordqvist returned to the winners’ circle when winning the Big Green Egg Open by a shot at Rosendaelsche Golf Club in July 2022. A look at Anna Nordqvist: What’s In The Bag.

Nordqvist hadn’t won since lifting her third major title in the 2021 AIG Women’s Open 11 months earlier, but held off the chasing pack by one shot in the Dutch Ladies Open.

The Swede carded a level-par final round of 72 to finish on seven-under par, a shot clear of Sarah Schober in the Big Green Egg Open.

It was Nordqvist’s third Ladies European Tour win and her 13th in total including her three major successes.

Her breakthrough came with victory in the 2009 LPGA Championship with her other two majors coming in the 2017 The Evian Championship and 2021 Women’s British Open.

Nordqvist also won the LPGA Tour Championship in 2009, the unofficial Mojo 6 in 2010 and the European Ladies Golf Cup in 2010 and 2011 with Sophie Gustafson.

Other LPGA Tour wins have come in the Honda LPGA Thailand and Kia Classic in 2014, the ShopRite LPGA Classic in 2015 and 2016 and the 2017.
