Adrian Otaegui: What’s In The Bag

Adrian Otaegui recorded his fourth DP World Tour win when landing the Andalucia Masters title in October 2022. A look at Adrian Otaegui: What’s In The Bag.

The Spaniard swapped the DP World Tour for three LIV Golf events earlier in 2022, but fought his case to be permitted to play on the European Tour.

He claimed his first win since doing so with Otaegui winning his homeland with a dominant six-shot victory in the Andalucia Masters at Valderrama.

Otaegui finished the week on a tournament record 19-under par, comfortably clear of runner-up Joakim Lagergren on 13-under par.

It was a fourth DP World Tour win for Otaegui following previous successes in the 2017 Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Match Play, 2018 Belgian Knockout and 2020 Scottish Championship.

The win in the Andalucia Masters moved Wilson up from 158th to 95th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
