Japan’s Furue came from off the pace in Scotland to win from Celine Boutier thanks to a record-breaking Sunday performance.

Furue won seven times on the LPGA of Japan Tour prior to her success in the Scottish Open.

The first came in the 2019 Fujitsu Ladies, the Descente Ladies Tokai Classic, Ito En Ladies Golf Tournament and Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open in 2020, and the Fujitsu Ladies, Nobuta Group Masters GC Ladies and Toto Japan Classic in 2021.
