The 2024 event, which is one of five major championships in women’s golf, is being played at Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
The Evian Championship was first played in 1994 as a Ladies European Tour event, before becoming co-sanctioned with the LPGA in 2000 and becoming a global major.
Celine Boutier is the reigning champion after winning the Evian Championship in 2023 in a memorable success on home soil.
Previous champions include Helen Alfredsson, Laura Davies, Catrin Nilsmark, Annika Sörenstam, Juli Inkster, Paula Creamer, Karrie Webb, Natalie Gulbis, Inbee Park, Suzann Pettersen, Lydia Ko, In Gee Chun, Anna Nordqvist, Minjee Lee and Brooke Henderson.

The Evian Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Evian Resort Golf Club in France, with a cut after the opening two rounds.
