Biltmore Championship Asheville 2026: Who Are The Leading Betting Odds Favourites?

PGA Tour Flag

The inaugural 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville gets the FedExCup Fall underway on the PGA Tour from September 17‑20.

The PGA Tour returns and heads to The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Arden North Carolina for what is Asheville’s first PGA Tour event since 1942.

It is the first of eight FedExCup Fall events and will be played on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Asheville course that plays as a par 71 measuring 7,249 yards.

As this is the venue’s PGA Tour debut, course history will not separate the field and players who adapt quickest to the mountain terrain, undulation and unfamiliar sightlines should gain an immediate edge.

Jackson Koivun heads the latest outright market ahead of Jacob Bridgeman, Rasmus Hojgaard, Davis Thompson, Doug Ghim and Kevin Yu.

The field is stronger than is typical for a Fall event, with eight 2026 Presidents Cup players set to compete, including Koivun and Bridgeman for the United States.

Leading Biltmore Championship Contenders

Jackson Koivun

Jackson Koivun is the clear market leader as the rookie looks for a second PGA Tour win of the year.

The rookie’s rise has been rapid, and a course with no previous PGA Tour form gives a confident, high-upside player an excellent opportunity to establish an early advantage.

Koivun has been selected for the US Presidents Cup team, underlining the level of respect he now commands.

If he combines his aggressive ball-striking with disciplined course management on a new layout, he has the potential to claim a second career PGA Tour title.

Jacob Bridgeman

Jacob Bridgeman comes into the week as the highest-ranked player in the field and is another US Presidents Cup selection.

Bridgeman’s balanced game should suit a course where players need to make smart decisions rather than simply overpower the layout.

If he starts quickly and keeps big numbers off the card, he has every reason to make his way into contention.

Rasmus Hojgaard

Danish star Rasmus Hojgaard brings the kind of power that can turn a 7,249-yard par 71 into a real scoring opportunity.

His aggressive style should create plenty of birdie chances, but the key will be keeping that aggression under control on an unfamiliar course set among the Blue Ridge Mountains.

If he drives the ball accurately and gets comfortable with the greens quickly, he has the ceiling to contend with anyone.

Davis Thompson

Davis Thompson is another player expected to be prominent in the first Fall Series event and is one of the value players in the field.

Thompson’s reliable tee-to-green game gives him a strong platform at a new PGA Tour venue.

If the course becomes more of a second-shot test than a pure driving contest, his controlled approach play could become a major advantage.

Doug Ghim

Doug Ghim is an each-way contender with his accurate, measured game offering a useful contrast to the power-focused profiles around him.

That could be decisive if firm conditions or tight targets put a premium on fairways and greens and he has a credible chance of producing a deep weekend run.

Ghim’s best route to success is through consistency – avoid mistakes, take advantage of wedge opportunities and make enough putts to build momentum.

Kevin Yu

Kevin Yu brings considerable upside to the event with his powerful long game creating shorter approaches than many of his rivals will face, an important advantage at a 7,249-yard Nicklaus design.

Yu will need to manage the strategic side of the course – particularly its changing elevations and unfamiliar targets.

But if he combines distance with good wedge play, he has every chance to outperform his market quote.
