Bushnell Pro X3 Rangefinder Design & Features

Bushnell have taken the Pro XE rangefinder and given it an upgraded in the Pro X3 version, which is the most advanced yet.

New technological developments include in the latest release is the Locking Slope-Switch Technology, which allows an “in and out” mode to be set to ensure the rangefinder remains legal when in competition play.

It works via a sliding cap just above the main lens with a red “Slope” line being shown when the setting is turned on to ensure no mishaps happen and the rangefinder is breaching competition rules.

The Pinseeker With Visual Jolt has been improved to with the ring around the target now flashing as well as the rangefinder vibrating when a distance is locked on. This gives golfers added confidence out on the course.

Bushnell have also now introduced a dual display, which allows golfers to choose between a red display on the screen or a black colour to the target graphics. This is a major move to cater for colour blind golfers in particular.

Once again Bushnell have included the integrated BITE magnetic mount to allow the Pro X3’s case to be mount to a cart bar or part of your trolley.

Verdict: Is the Bushnell Pro X3 Rangefinder any good?

Bushnell lead the way when it comes to rangefinders and the Pro X3 is just another reason to back up that point.

The improved Visual Jolt for distance confirmation, the new Slope on/off confirmation feature and the ability to change the colour of the target ring are all nice benefits for the users.

Although not cheap, in fact one of the most expensive you can buy, this is just about as good a distance measuring device as you are likely find anywhere.
