Ciganda was winning on the LPGA Tour third time as she landed a one-shot victory in the 2025 Meijer Classic at Blythefield Country Club.
The Spaniard has finished on 16-under par, one clear of Choi Hye-jin to end a nine year drought on the LPGA Tour.
Ciganda’s previous two LPGA Tour wins both came in 2016 when she won the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship and Citibanamex Lorena Ochoa Invitational.
She is an eight-time Ladies European Tour winner too, the most recent of which came on home soil when recording her second victory in the season-ending Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana in Spain.
The Spaniard won the Deloitte Ladies Open and China Suzhou Taihu Open in 2012, the UniCredit Ladies German Open in 2013, the 2019 and 2022 Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open, the 2021 Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana and the 2023 Aramco Team Series Florida.
Ciganda claimed her maiden career win back in the Murcia Ladies Open on the LET Access Tour in 2011, the year she turned professional.
Ciganda has also represented Team Europe in the Solheim Cup in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024.
