Chris Gotterup: What’s In The Bag

Chris Gotterup What's In The Bag

Chris Gotterup claimed his second PGA Tour title in as many months when winning the WM Phoenix Open in February 2026. A look at Chris Gotterup: What’s In The Bag.

In the season-opening event in Hawaii in January, Gotterup finished on 16-under par in the 2026 Sony Open to claim a two shot victory over Ryan Gerard at Waialae Country Club.

And he recorded a stunning victory in the 2026 WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale three weeks later, birdieing five of his last six holes and then the first play-off hole to beat Hideki Matsuyama after both finished on 16-under par.

It was the third successive season in which Gotterup has won on the PGA Tour following successes in the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic and 2025 Scottish Open.

Gotterup’s first PGA Tour win came in 2024 in the Myrtle Beach Classic when recording a dominant six-shot victory in his rookie season after coming through a single campaign on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023.

Gotterup then claimed his maiden Rolex Series victory with a two-shot success in the 2025 Scottish Open – earning a spot in the Open Championship in the process.
