What Cobra say:

“Our lightest driver weighs 50 grams less than conventional drivers to help you create effortless distance.

“Carbon fiber saves discretionary weight, allowing us to maintain a high MOI for the optimal blend of speed and forgiveness.

“The Airspeed shaft is 5 grams lighter, making it easier than ever to generate more club speed and distance without sacrificing stability.

“Our lightest ever midsize grip weighs 41 grams contributing to a lighter overall weight while promoting better feel in the hands and during the swing.

“A driver weighted in your favour. If you have trouble turning the club over, having weight concentrated low and towards the heel will reduce your slice and help you hit straighter drives.”

Cobra F-Max Driver Design

The F-Max Airspeed driver features new weight saving technologies to maximise swing and ball speed.

Cobra have opted for a carbon fibre crown to replace the titanium version in previous versions to form the major part of the weight saving.

The weighting has been reduced and moved low and towards the back of the clubhead to improve forgiveness and the stability of the driver, which in total helps achieve a club that is 13 grams lighter than the previous F-Max drivers.

The attractive blue and black coloured driver, which is available in 10.5 degree and 11.5 degree options, also has a PWR Ridge design on the crown to improve the aerodynamics and also help with alignment.

Cobra F-Max Airspeed Driver Verdict

Cobra have worked hard on improving the perfect of the F-Max driver with the focus being on reducing the weight in the new Airspeed model.

They have done that and some, and the end result is more clubhead speed through impact and greater distances from the tee. That is what all golfers crave after all.

Forgiveness hasn’t been forgotten, and this is a driver that offers plenty of confidence over even the most difficult of driving holes.

At the price point, the Cobra F-Max Airspeed driver is one of the best value options on the market.
