Cobra F-Max Airspeed Hybrids Review (LIGHT to Maximise Distance)

Cobra F-Max Airspeed Hybrids

Cobra F-Max Airspeed Hybrids debuted in early 2020 as part of the launch of the new series from the leading manufacturer.

Cobra have made the F-Max hybrids lighter than the previous versions to help produce great speed through the air and maximise distance – something all golfers are looking for.

The hybrids are part of the Airspeed series along with new drivers, woods and irons, the F-Max woods are an upgraded version of the F-Max range first released in 2017.

What Cobra says about the F-Max Airspeed rescues:

“With our lightest hybrid, launching it high and long from fairways to greens has never felt this easy.

“The Airspeed shaft is 5 grams lighter, making it easier than ever to generate more club speed and distance without sacrificing stability.

“A shallow face profile lowers the center of gravity for higher ball flights that land softly into greens.

“If you have trouble turning the club over, having weight concentrated low and towards the heel will reduce your slice and help you hit straighter.”

Cobra F-Max Airspeed Hybrids Design

Like the driver and woods, Cobra have made weight savings with the the F-Max hybrids to help improve performance.

The design process has seen the weighting positioned low, back and towards the heel to help produce straighter ball flights than ever before.

A higher launch, meanwhile, comes thanks to an offset hosel design to help square the face quicker at the point of impact.

Available lofts include 3H (19 degree), 4H (22 degree), 5H (25 degree), 6H (28 degree) and 7H (31 degree).

Verdict: Are Cobra F-Max Airspeed Hybrids any good?

The new Cobra hybrids are very attractive in looks, but there is impressive performance to look forward to extracting from them too.

Cobra F-Max Airspeed Hybrids

If you struggle for consistency from your irons, want to add distance to those longer shots or like the confidence that a hybrid offers then the F-Max Airspeed should come under serious consideration.

They are light, able to generate good speed through the air and perform well from tee, fairway or the rough. The F-Max really is a good all-rounder that will add to your game.
