The Canadian Women’s Open is part of the 2022 LPGA Tour season is being played Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ontario, Canada.

This is the third time the venue has staged the CP Women’s Open, having also staged the tournament in 2008 and 2017.

The Canadian Open was first held in 2001 at Angus Glen Golf Club and has also be staged at Summerlea Golf and Country Club, Point Grey Golf & Country Club, Legends on the Niagara, Glen Arbour Golf Course, London Hunt and Country Club, Royal Mayfair Golf Club, Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club, St. Charles Country Club, Hillsdale Golf & Country Club, Vancouver Golf Club, Wascana Country Club and Magna Golf Club.

Ko Jin-young is the reigning champion after winning the CP Women’s Open when it was last held in 2019 at Magna Golf Club.

Previous champions include Annika Sörenstam, Meg Mallon, Beth Daniel, Christie Kerr, Lorena Ochoa, Katherine Hull, Suzann Pettersen, Michelle Wie, Brittany Lincicome, Lydia Ko, Ariya Jutanugarn, Park Sung-hyun and Brooke Henderson.

The Canadian Women’s Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ontario, Canada, with a cut after the opening two rounds.
