Elizabeth Szokol secured up her first LPGA Tour victory when winning the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in July 2023. A look at Elizabeth Szokol: What’s In The Bag.

Szokol teamed up with fellow American Cheyenne Knight to win the LPGA Tour’s team event at Midland Country Club in Michigan.

Playing a mixture of foursomes and fourballs golf over four days, the pair finished on 23-under at the 2023 Dow GLBI. It was enough for a one shot victory over Matilda Castren and Kelly Tan.

Szokol turned professional in 2017 and the following year landed her first victory when taking the title at the IOA Invitational on the Symetra Tour, now Epson Tour.

She earned her LPGA Tour card for the following season in 2019 but had failed to make a breakthrough win until victory in the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.
