Ping G430 Hybrids Review (New RESCUES for 2023)

Ping G430 Hybrids

Ping G430 hybrids have been unveiled with the new addition to the market set to be a big hit for the 2023.

The new G430 rescues are the successors to the hugely popular G425 hybrids, and they will become Ping’s number one seller for 2023.

The new hybrids, which are part of the G430 series also featuring drivers, fairway woods and irons, have been made more forgiving, longer and more consistent than any previous model.

We take a look at what the rescues offer in this article and guide to the new G430 and discuss how each of the technologies can help your game.

What does Ping say about the G430 Hybrids:

“We’ve loaded the G430 with new innovations like Carbonfly Wrap to give you the added ball speed, distance and green-holding stopping power you need to take on any approach.

“Our proven technologies Facewrap and Spinsistency are also here, and a tungsten backweight to ensure forgiveness.

“Carbonfly Wrap, an ultra-thin lightweight composite crown, wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt. Weight savings are reallocated to lower the CG and increase ball speed and the MOI (forgiveness).

“Facewrap Technology is a thin, high-strength maraging steel face that wraps into the sole and crown to increase flexing and generate faster ball speed with a higher launch for longer carries.

“Spinsistency is a variable roll radius and creates less loft low on the face to improve performance (especially on thin shots) by reducing spin to increase ball speed for added distance from the maraging steel face.”

Ping G430 Hybrids Specs & Design

The Ping G430 hybrids are the latest generation of the manufacturer’s most popular model with some interesting changes compared to the G425 model.

Ping G430 Hybrids

Ping have worked on offering improved forgiveness, more reliability and added distance from the new range of rescues.

The new Carbonfly Wrap has been added to the G430 model to provide 8g of weight compared to the steel crown of the G425s.

It has improved the weighting, along with the fixed rear tungsten weight, to provide a higher launch angle, increase club head speed and allow for more ball speed and distance from the new hybrids.

Ping G430 Hybrids

Ping have retained the Face Wrap from crown to sole to help increase face flex for better ball speeds, and the Spinsistency technology is also back to help reduce spin levels and maximise distance.

They are available in 2-Hybrid (17 degrees), 3-Hybrid (19 degrees), 4-Hybrid (22 degrees), 5-Hybrid (26 degrees), 6-Hybrid (30 degrees) and 7-Hybrid (34 degrees).

Ping’s Trajectory Tuning technology provides a lightweight, eight-position hosel for loft adjustments.
