The Spaniard finished on four under par overall across a tough week to defeat Keita Nakajima by two shots and win the 2025 Indian Open.
The 22-year-old Spaniard was a rising star of the amateur game and college golf in the United States before turning professional in 2022 and joining LIV Golf.
Lopez-Chacarra made an immediate impact as he won the LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok title in October 2022 for his first career victory on tour.
Lopez-Chacarra was the world number two amateur player and had planned to return to Oklahoma State University rather than join the Korn Ferry Tour, having qualified for the tour, but made a u-turn and joined LIV Golf.
In 2025, Chacarra signed a partnership with Eastside Golf to wear the brand’s apparel on tour.
