Five Iron Golf Miami will be the brand’s first Florida venue to continue the growth of the golf entertainment business.
Fresh off the back of opening of Five Iron Nashville to mark a first move into Tennessee, Five Iron is expanding into Florida with a new Miami venue to be their biggest yet.
The new Five Iron Golf venue will be located in a 30,000-square-foot flagship venue at The Plaza in Coral Gables, which will be the largest of the brand’s locations when officially opening.
Golfers will have access to 12 of Five Iron Golf’s signature simulators, the largest indoor golf league in the world and custom club fitting through Callaway Tour Fitting.
The multi-level venue will also be home to Jim McLean Golf School, which is headquartered 1.5 miles away at Biltmore Golf Course, a full-length Strike Club bowling with 12 lanes, dining and nightlife.
Multiple bars and gathering spaces throughout the venue support everything from after-work meetups to group celebrations and private events, including lunch deals and happy hours.
“Miami represents an important milestone for Five Iron Golf,” said Jared Solomon, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Five Iron Golf.
“This flagship brings together everything that defines our brand – serious instruction, cutting-edge technology, hospitality, and entertainment – at a scale that reflects both the market opportunity and our long-term vision for growth.”
Jim McLean, founder and CEO of Jim McLean Golf School, added: “Our approach to instruction combines the most comprehensive and respected teacher training system in the world.
“Our instructors are rigorously educated in advanced ball-flight and performance analysis using TrackMan, which has allowed us to develop an elite diagnostic process for identifying swing patterns with precision and efficiency.
“Five Iron’s Coral Gables flagship location creates a modern performance environment where our certified instructors can deliver elite instruction, combining advanced technology with a learning system that will help players at every level.”
The Coral Gables location is owned and operated by franchise partners Peter McCormick, Alex Zega and Matt Csillag with this the latest of multiple locations across the U.S. and internationally for the trio.
“This venue reflects our long-term belief in South Florida as a key growth market,” said Peter McCormick, Owner and Developer of Five Iron Golf Coral Gables.
“By bringing together instruction, technology, bowling, and hospitality at this scale, we’re establishing a flagship that sets the tone for future growth in the region.”
