Garrick Higgo claimed his second PGA Tour victory when winning the Corales Puntacana Championship in April 2025. A look at Garrick Higgo: What’s In The Bag.
The South Africa came from behind at Corales Golf Club at Puntacana Golf Resort in the Dominican Republic to win by one shot.
As the rest of the field faltered, Higgo did enough to finish on 14-under par in the 2025 Corales Puntacana Championship, one clear of Joel Dahmen, Keith Mitchell, Jeremy Paul, Michael Thorbjornsen and Alejandro Tosti.
It was a significant win for Higgo, who regained his PGA Tour status after winning the event which is co-sanctioned with the Korn Ferry Tour.
It was Higgo’s second PGA Tour title having won the Palmetto Championship at Congaree in 2021, a shot clear of Doc Redman, Bo Van Pelt, Hudson Swafford, Jhonattan Vegas, Chesson Hadley and Tyrrell Hatton.
That completed a dream run of results for Higgo, who also won the 2020 Open de Portugal and 2021 Gran Canaria Lopesan Open and Canary Islands Championship on the DP World Tour in April and May.
In 2024, Higgo signed a sponsorship agreement with Bell Techlogix to become an ambassador of the brand.
