Kim finished on 14-under in the fourth of the year’s women’s majors, finishing with two birdies and a closing eagle to tie with world number two Jeeno Thitikul in France.
The 2025 Evian Championship title was won in the first extra hole at Evian Golf Resort when Kim once again eagled the 18th hole.
Kim made an instant impression in her first year on the LPGA Tour in 2023, claiming a play-off victory over Yu Liu and Sung Yu-jin in the Lotte Championship for her maiden title.
Australian Kim now has seven career wins in total having previously graduated from the ALPG Tour, Epson Tour and Women’s All-Pro Tour.
She won the TPS Sydney in 2021 and 2022 on the ALPG Tour, the 2022 IOA Golf Classic on the Epson Tour and the 2021 Oscar Williams Classic and Texarkana Children’s Charities Open on the Women’s All-Pro Tour.
