Grant Forrest won for the first time in 14 months when claiming the title at the Open de Espana in October 2026. A look at Grant Forrest: What’s In The Bag.
The Scotsman hadn’t won on the DP World Tour since August 2025, but came out on top on a thrilling final day of the Open de Espana.
Forrest was involved in a see-sawing five-way battle on the final day in Madrid before finishing on 14-under for a one-shot victory over Eugenio Chacarra and Victor Perez.
Forrest’s previous two wins on the DP World Tour both came in his home country in Scotland, firstly when winning the Hero Open at Fairmont St Andrews in 2021.
He then claimed a four-shot win in the inaugural 2025 Nexo Championship at Trump International Links in August 2025.
