Titleist 620 MB Irons Review

Titleist T100 620 CB 620 MB

Titleist 620 MB irons are one of several ranges released in 2019 as part of the latest new products from the leading manufacturer.

Titleist revealed the 620 MB irons when they made a first appearance on course at Pebble Beach for the 2019 US Open as they begun a validation period for the clubs.

The Titleist 620 MB irons are joined by the 620 CB and T-Series irons as the latest designs and were tested by PGA Tour stars like brand ambassadors Justin Thomas, Adam Scott and Rafael Cabrera Bello before being released for general sale.

What Titleist say about the 620 MB Irons:

“The new 620 MB irons stay true to everything players have come to trust from this classic model, with distinct refinements that make them better than ever.

“Reduced offset for the ultimate player’s look, progressive blade length for optimised play throughout the set and Tour-refined sole for improved turf interaction.”

Titleist 620 MB Irons Design

The 620 MB irons are a muscleback design and sit in direct opposition to the 620 CB, a cavity back option.

Depending on ability or preference, the choice of irons is there across a broad spectrum of golfers with the 620 MB aimed at elite golfers and low-handicap golfers.

Images of the 620 MB being used both on the range and on the course at Pebble Beach during the validation process showed an attractive muscleback that is striking in design and appearance.

And upon official release, the 620 MBs have a thin top line and a narrow sole for less turn interaction and to provide all the ammunition that high level golfers look for in their irons.

The Titleist 620 MB, which replace the 718 MB as the premium option in Titleist’s armoury, feature a reduced offset for the ultimate look.

Titleist 620 MB Irons Verdict

The 620 MB irons will prove popular with talented golfers who love playing a blade.

Not only do they look good – something Titleist have worked hard on, but they play well too and are an improvement on the 718 MB irons.

The 620 MBs will be a big seller to elite level golfers with perfect ball striking, but for those seeking much more forgiveness from their irons the 620 CB should be the chosen option.
