The 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational takes place for the third time with 16 mixed pairings teeing it up at Tiburon Golf Club from December 12-14.

This unique mixed-team event features 32 players from the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour, competing in 16 mixed pairs for a purse of $4 million.

The tournament boasts an impressive field from both tours participating in Florida including the previous two winnings pairs of Patty Tavatanakit & Jake Knapp​ and Jason Day & Lydia Ko.

Among the other names teeing it up are Nelly Korda, who tops the betting odds, sister Jessica on her return to golf, Charley Hull, Lottie Woad, Brooke Henderson, Lexi Thompson and Lilia Vu.

From the PGA Tour, Billy Horschel, Wyndham Clark and Keith Mitchell are among the male members of the pairings.

2025 Grant Thornton Invitational Format

The competition takes place over three days with different formats used – Scramble, Foursomes and Modified Four-Ball – across the three rounds

Scramble (Round 1): Both players tee off, then select the best shot to play from, continuing this process until the ball is holed.

Foursomes (Round 2): Players alternate shots using the same ball until the hole is completed.

Modified Four-Ball (Round 3): Both players tee off, then switch balls for their second shots, playing that ball until it’s holed. The lower score of the pair counts as the team score.
