Tavatanakit ended a drought of almost three years with back-to-back wins in the Saudi Ladies International and LPGA Thailand in February 2024.
The Thai star teamed up with Jake Knapp to win the Grant Thornton Invitational, which played as a mixed event by PGA Tour and LPGA Tour members, by a single shot and take the final title of the year.
Tavatanakit suffered a slump in form since tasting victory in April 2021, but the Thai star returned to form with success on the Ladies European Tour.
Tavatanakit was dominant at Riyadh Golf Club in the Saudi Ladies International and just seven days later on home soil at Siam Country Club she won again in the LPGA Thailand.
Tavatanakit emerged as a star when winning three times on the Epson Tour, then known as the Symetra Tour, in 2019 in the Donald Ross Classic, Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic and Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge.
She fulfilled that promise with a first LPGA Tour win in the ANA Inspiration before suffering a dip in form.
