Patty Tavatanakit What's In The Bag

Patty Tavatanakit ended a drought of almost three years with back-to-back wins in the Saudi Ladies International and LPGA Thailand in February 2024. A look at Patty Tavatanakit: What’s In The Bag.

Tavatanakit has suffered a slump in form since tasting victory in April 2021, but the Thai star returned to form with success on the Ladies European Tour.

Tavatanakit was dominant at Riyadh Golf Club as she finished on 18-under par in the Saudi Ladies International, seven shots clear of Esther Henseleit.

Just seven days later and playing on home soil at Siam Country Club, Tavatanakit won again as she finished on 21-under to lift the LPGA Thailand by a single shot from Albane Valenzuela.

Tavatanakit emerged as a star when winning three times on the Epson Tour, then known as the Symetra Tour, in 2019 in the Donald Ross Classic, Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic and Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge.

She fulfilled that promise with a first LPGA Tour win in the ANA Inspiration before suffering a dip in form.
