Heritage Golf Group has further cemented its position as one of America’s fastest-growing owners and operators of golf and country clubs by acquiring three prestigious private clubs in Florida.
The Plantation Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers, the Country Club of Ocala and The Palencia Club in St Augustine are now all part of the rapidly growing Heritage Golf Group.
The acquisition, announced in late October 2025, was made from MG Orender, the managing partner of the three properties.
With the addition of the three clubs, Heritage Golf Group now operates 46 golf clubs nationwide, including 12 in Florida as the brand continues to expand in key golf and lifestyle markets.
Heritage Golf Group has grown significantly since its current leadership acquired the company in 2020, expanding into 15 states with a blend of private country clubs, resort properties and daily-fee venues.

The Plantation Golf & Country Club (Fort Myers)
Features an 18-hole championship course crafted by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, paired with The Great House clubhouse offering fine dining and event spaces.
Country Club of Ocala (Ocala)
Designed by Steve Nugent, the 18-hole course showcases rolling terrain and oak-lined fairways. The club also includes seven tennis courts, pickleball facilities, an Olympic-sized pool, and a comprehensive fitness center.
The Palencia Club (St. Augustine)
Home to an Arthur Hills–designed championship course and a 33,000-square-foot clubhouse providing a mix of casual and upscale dining with panoramic course views.
