If you’re not comfortable performing this installation yourself, you can always take your putter and grip to a professional club fitter or a local golf shop, and they can assist you with the installation.

If you are doing it yourself, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to put on a SuperStroke putter grip:

1. Remove the Old Grip: If you’re replacing an old grip, you’ll need to remove it first. Use a utility knife or grip removal tool to carefully cut and peel off the old grip and any remaining tape.

2. Prepare the Putter Shaft: Clean the putter shaft with a towel or rag to remove any dirt, grease, or residue. A clean surface will help the new grip adhere properly.

3. Apply Grip Tape: Wrap double-sided grip tape around the putter shaft, starting from the bottom and moving upward. Make sure the tape covers the entire area where the grip will be installed. Trim any excess tape at the top.

4. Apply Solvent: Apply grip solvent (rubbing alcohol or grip tape solvent) to the inside of the grip and to the tape on the putter shaft. This will allow the grip to easily slide onto the shaft and help activate the adhesive on the tape.

5. Slide On the Grip: With the grip solvent applied, carefully slide the SuperStroke grip onto the putter shaft. Make sure to align any alignment markings or features on the grip with the desired position on the putter head.

6. Align the Grip: Once the grip is on the shaft, quickly adjust the alignment of the grip to ensure it’s properly positioned. SuperStroke grips often have alignment aids, so make sure they are aligned with your desired hand placement.

7. Seat the Grip: Push the grip onto the putter shaft firmly, making sure it goes all the way down to the butt end. The solvent will help the grip slide into place smoothly.

8. Check Alignment: Double-check that the grip is aligned properly before the solvent starts to dry and the grip becomes more difficult to adjust.

9. Allow to Dry: Let the grip dry for a few hours to ensure that it’s securely bonded to the grip tape and putter shaft. You can place the putter in a vice or grip station with soft jaws to hold it in place during the drying process.

10. Remove Excess Solvent: After the grip has dried, clean off any excess grip solvent using a towel or rag.

11. Play Test: Once the grip is fully dried, you’re ready to take your putter out on the green and give it a test run. Enjoy the improved feel and performance of your SuperStroke grip.
