Raven Golf Club in Phoenix Reopens After Renovation

Raven Golf Club Phoenix

Raven Golf Club has reopened after undergoing a major renovation with the greater Phoenix venue getting a transformation.

Owned by Arcis Golf, Raven Golf Club has a new revitalized layout with the changes enhancing the views, improved tees and desert areas as well as restoration of 60 sand bunkers.

The 60 sand bunkers were meticulously restored using the advanced Better Billy Bunker liner system and a special blend of sand, creating a striking visual contrast with the verdant greens and Jesse Red decomposed granite.

The changes have significantly improved the playing experience, adapting the course to modern equipment and diverse skill levels.

Significant changes include the reconfiguration of bunkers and the enhancement of sightlines, particularly notable on the 11th and the signature 7th holes.

The project also involved removing non-native species and reimagining The Nest, the course’s halfway house, into a more inviting space with expanded bar seating and eclectic dining options.

“Showcasing vistas of the Phoenix skyline and distant mountains adds to the overall playing experience,” explained Ed Easley, Senior Vice President, Construction, for Arcis Golf.

“Today, the original intent and strategy for each hole has been recaptured. The views for golfers have been enhanced immensely, leading to a more dynamic golf experience.”
