Johannes Veerman What's In The Bag

Johannes Veerman claimed his second DP World Tour win when landing the Nedbank Golf Challenge title in December 2024. A look at Johannes Veerman: What’s In The Bag.

It is more than three years since Veerman last won, but he was a calm head as rivals faltered around him with the American claiming a one-shot victory in the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Veerman finished on five-under par at the Gary Player Golf Course in Sun City, one clear of Matthew Jordan, Romain Langasque and Aldrich Potgieter.

It was Veerman’s second win on the DP World Tour after making his breakthrough success in the D+D Real Czech Masters in 2021.

The American’s only other professional win came in the 2016 Taifong Open, which is part of the Asian Development Tour and Taiwan PGA Tour.

He was the Asian Development Tour Order of Merit winner in the same 2016 season, his second year on tour after turning professional in 2015.
