Guerrier was making his 230th start on the DP World Tour and finally broke his duck with a memorable and record-equalling victory in the Andalucia Masters.
The Frenchman finished on 21-under along with Jorge Campillo and it needed a ninth play-off hole before finally claimed the title in Spain.
Guerrier’s DP World Tour debut came back in 2005 but the Frenchman had a 19-year wait for his first victory at elite level.
He did win the 2006 The Amateur Championship and recorded Alps Tour wins in the 2007 Open CDG Développement as an amateur and 2008 AGF-Allianz Open after turning pro.
Guerrier also has Challenge Tour wins in the Hauts de France Golf Open and Irish Challenge in 2017.
