The Englishman carded a birdie at the first extra hole to win the Bahrain Championship and earn his first win of 2025.
Canter broke his DP World Tour duck when claiming his maiden win in the 2024 European Open with a two-shot victory.
His only other professional win came in 2015 in the The Players Club event on the Jamega Pro Tour.
In 2022, Canter made the switch over to LIV Golf before returning to the DP World Tour in 2024.
