It was the third win of what has been a dream season for Penge and one which should result in him landing a PGA Tour card for 2026.

Englishman Penge claimed his breakthrough win in April when shooting weekend rounds of seven-under par and five-under par to come from off the pace and win the inaugural Hainan Classic.

Penge also came from behind to lift the title at the 2025 Danish Golf Championship in August, defeating defending champion and home favourite Rasmus Hojgaard by a single shot.

Penge finished on 15-under par and needed a play-off to win the 2025 Open de Espana. He beat fellow Englishman Dan Brown at the first extra hole.

A Mizuno NextGen athlete like Bailey Tardy and others, Penge claimed his first professional win in 2019 in the Prem Group Irish Masters on the PGA EuroPro Tour.

He won twice on the Challenge Tour in 2023 in the Open de Portugal and the season-ending Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final to earn his DP World Tour card.

In late 2024, Penge was hit with a three-month ban after admitting to betting on golf events.
