Matt Fitzpatrick landed his first win of 2023 when victorious in the RBC Heritage in April. A look at Matt Fitzpatrick winners’ bag.

Fitzpatrick produced a stunning approach shot at Harbour Town Golf Links to win the RBC Heritage in a play-off with Jordan Spieth.

The pair finished on 17-under par and were inseparable over the first two play-off holes of the PGA Tour event.

But two-time Ryder Cup representative Fitzpatrick’s approach on the third extra hole left a tap in birdie which reigning champion Spieth could not match.

In June 2022, nine years after winning the US Amateur Open at The Country Club at Brookline, Fitzpatrick lifted the US Open title at the same venue with a one-shot victory over Will Zalatoris and Scottie Scheffler.

Fitzpatrick now has nine career victories having also won the 2015 British Masters, 2016 Nordea Masters, 2016 and 2020 DP World Tour Championship, 2017 and 2018 Omega European Masters and 2021 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters on the DP World Tour.

The latest victory moved Fitzpatrick up to a career high eighth in the Official World Golf Rankings.
