Miura TC-202 Irons (T-Weight Bar Added, 2025 Model Reviewed)

Miura TC-202 Irons Review

Miura Golf have launched the TC-202 irons as an evolution of their acclaimed TC-201 model with the 2025 newcomer featuring a T-Weight bar.

Like the TC-201s, the new TC-202 irons blend muscle-back precision with cavity-back forgiveness as well as the trademark Miura feel.

The key change in the TC-202 design is the addition of a T-Weight Bar for better distribution of the center mass of the clubhead, optimized weighting and increased Moment of Inertia (MOI) for maximum forgiveness.

The TC-202 irons also feature a new Y Grind Leading Edge for better turf interaction and variable depth cavities in each iron.

Miura TC-202 Irons Specs & Design

The Miura TC-202 irons are constructed using premium S20C soft carbon steel and deliver the exceptional feel and precision that Miura irons are renowned for.

This model blends the classic muscle back look elite players look for with cavity back design that golfers needing forgiveness look for.

The TC-202 introduces the T-Weight Bar, which optimizes weight distribution by combining the heel-toe weighting from the TC-201 model with center mass placement.

This innovate design feature increases the Moment of Inertia (MOI), making the TC-202 more forgiving on off-center hits.

The T-Weight Bar’s thickness varies across the set, with thicker bars in long irons for lower center of gravity, and helps delivers enhanced trajectory control, spin consistency and forgiveness.

There is also Variable Depth Cavity in each iron from the 3-iron to the gap wedge, with the design uniquely optimized for specific shots and consistent performance across the set.

The TC-202 irons also have a Y Grind Leading Edge that has been refined for superior turf interaction. The design promotes a square clubface at impact for improved shot accuracy.

The TC-202 irons are sold in nine standard lofts of 3-iron (21 degrees), 4-iron (23 degrees), 5-iron (26 degrees), 6-iron (29 degrees), 7-iron (33 degrees), 8-iron (37 degrees), 9-iron (41 degrees), Pitching Wedge (46 degrees) and Gap Wedge (50 degrees).

Miura TC-202 Irons Review: Are they any good?

The Miura TC-202 irons continue Miura’s reputation for crafting high-quality, precision-forged irons and are an excellent option for a mix of playability and forgiveness.

The new T-Weight Bar places mass directly behind the sweet spot and has improved accuracy and allowed golfers to shape shots more effectively than with the TC-201.

The TC-202 irons feature a progressive shaping from long to short irons, with the cavity depth decreasing as you move through the set. The result is optimize launch angle for each club.

The irons also incorporate elements from other Miura models, such as the toe profile borrowed from the KM-700 blade, which helps optimize weight distribution.
