Neal Shipley What's In The Bag

Neal Shipley claimed his maiden professional title when winning the LECOM Suncoast Classic in April 2025. A look at Neal Shipley: What’s In The Bag.

American Shipley had shot to prominence as a leading amateur of the game and turned pro in 2024 and joined the Korn Ferry Tour.

It was on the Korn Ferry Tour that Shipley claimed his maiden title, defeating Lee Seung-taek at the fifth hole of a play-off after the pair had finished on 18-under par in the LECOM Suncoast Classic.

Shipley had a collegiate career at James Madison University for three years before transferring to Ohio State University for his final year.

He finished runner-up in the 2023 US Amateur and won the 2024 Southwestern Invitational while at college.

The US Amateur result earned him a spot at the 2024 Masters and 2024 US Open, and Shipley finished as the low amateur in both majors prior to turned professional.
