It was a first PGA Tour win for both of them as they finished on 30-under par, two shots clear of Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor at TPC Louisiana.
American Hardy was claiming his first win as professional.
The closest Hardy had gone to winning was when losing a play-off in the 2022 NV5 Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Davis is ranked 177th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
