Riley dominated at Colonial Country Club to claim his first outright victory on the PGA Tour having previously won the pairs event the 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The American finished on 14-under par in the Charles Schwab Challenge, five shots clear of Keegan Bradley and Scottie Scheffler.
Riley teamed up with Nick Hardy to break his PGA Tour duck in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in April 2023.
American Riley won twice on Korn Ferry Tour in his rookie season on the tour.
The first came in the Panama Championship before he landed the title at the TPC San Antonio Championship later in the same year.
Davis moved up to 78th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
