The German star ended her wait for a Ladies European Tour title when triumphing by three shots in the Women’s Indian Open at the DLF Golf and Country Club.
On what was her 96th start of the LET, Cowan’s final round four-under par saw her finish on 13-under, three shots clear of Amandeep Drall and Caroline Hedwall.
Cowan shot to prominence when winning three times on the LET Access Series in the space of four months in 2015.
She took the titles in the ASGI Ladies Open, Boras Ladies Open and Norrporten Ladies Open before graduating onto the LET Tour.
Prior to the win in India, Cowan was ranked 199th in the Rolex Rankings for the World Women’s Golf Standings.
