Ryan Fox landed the fourth DP World Tour victory and his biggest career success when winning the BMW PGA Championship in September 2022. A look at Ryan Fox: What’s In The Bag.
Fox carded a final round of five-under par, including a closer birdie, to win the BMW PGA Championship by a shot from Tyrrell Hatton.
One of the flagship events on the DP World Tour, Fox’s 18-under par total included a triple bogey early in his final round before he reeled off eight birdies to win the Rolex Series Event.
Fox ended the 2022 season with his previous biggest success when landing the title at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie.
It was a second win of the 2022 DP World Tour season for New Zealander Fox, who led from start to finish to record a five-shot victory over Ross Fisher in the Ras Al Khaimah Classic in February 2022.
Fox also won in the ISPS Handa Perth Super 6 in 2019.
Prior to the BMW PGA Championship, Fox was ranked 42nd in the Official World Golf Rankings. He jumped up to 31st place after the victory.
