Scottie Scheffler Extends Contract With TaylorMade

World number one Scottie Scheffler has extended his partnership with TaylorMade and will continue to play a be part of Team TaylorMade in 2024 and onwards.

Scheffler started playing TaylorMade irons in 2000 and officially joined as fully fledged member of the team two years ago in 2022

The relationship has seen American Scheffler reach world number one, win seven times and lift his first major at the 2022 Masters.

Scottie Scheffler Wins

Scheffler had been the nearly man but finally shed his maiden tag at the 71st attempt when winning a play-off with Patrick Cantlay to win the 2022 Phoenix Open in February.

Scheffler won four times in three months in 2022 – all in the space of six starts including victory at The Masters in April.

Three weeks after the Phoenix Open, Scheffler was a double PGA Tour winner as he came from behind to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational by one shot from Viktor Hovland, Billy Horschel and Tyrrell Hatton at Bay Hill.

The American then won the WGC Match Play when he got the better of Kevin Kisner 4&3 in the final. He had finished runner-up in the event 12 months earlier.

Scheffler dominated the 2022 Masters at Augusta to win the green jacket by three shots from Rory McIlroy, even affording a double bogey at the last.

Scheffler’s first win in 2023 came in February when he successfully defended of his Phoenix Open title at TPC Scottsdale before landing the Players Championship title with a five-shot victory at TPC Sawgrass in March.

He ended 2023 with his third win of the year when winning the Hero World Challenge in December.

Scheffler won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019 before graduating to the PGA Tour. He was also part of the United States’ winning team in the 2021 Ryder Cup.
