Srixon ZXi RKT Hybrids Are Adjustable Long-Iron Replacements For 2026 (Reviewed)

Srixon ZXi RKT Hybrids Review

The Srixon ZXi RKT hybrids are part of the brand’s new 2026 metalwood family, an excellent long-iron replacement and more adjustable than ever before.

The new RKT design replaces the previous ZXi rescues, and they combine a compact, tour-influenced head with new RKT Face technology.

Also featuring an adjustable hosel and – for the first time in a Srixon hybrid – an interchangeable sole weight, they are the most adjustable rescues yet from the brand.

They form part of a complete new series with four models of the ZXi RKT drivers and adjustable ZXi RKT fairway woods.

Pros & Cons

✅ Five lofts – 17°, 19°, 22°, 25° and 28° – cover anything from a strong driving-iron alternative to a higher-lofted mid-iron replacement
✅ Adjustable hosel and sole weight allow loft, lie, swing weight and club feel to be fitted together
✅ RKT Face combines refined i-FLEX face shaping, Variable Roll Design and Rebound Frame technology, with the aim of preserving speed and direction across the face
✅ Compact head looks more like an iron replacement than a small fairway wood
✅ Right and left-handed options are available in the popular 19° and 22° heads
❌ The 17°, 25° and 28° men’s heads are right-hand only
❌ A compact hybrid will not necessarily offer the same launch or off-centre forgiveness as a larger 7-wood
❌ The price puts it in the premium hybrid bracket

Srixon ZXi RKT Hybrids Specs & Technology

The ZXi RKT uses Srixon’s new RKT Face architecture introduced for 2026 as an upgraded design of the original ZXi hybrds.

A refined i-FLEX face-thickness pattern has been designed and rejigged to improve energy transfer, while Rebound Frame uses two flex zones to support ball speed.

The hybrids also feature Variable Roll Design which targets more consistent results from strikes away from the centre, particularly high-toe misses that might otherwise turn over too strongly.

Srixon have tweaked the head shape compared to previous versions with the refined look achieved through tour-player feedback – much like the new driver and fairway woods.

The result is a rescue, or series of rescues, that provide an iron-replacement profile that can launch confidently from fairway lies, rough and even fairway bunkers.

The compact look runs from a 122cc 2-hybrid to a 113cc 6-hybrid and have been designed to fill specific iron-to-wood distance gaps and produce a flight that can land softly enough for approach shots.

The 12-setting hosel provides the opportunity to change standard loft or settings up to 1.5° higher or lower, alongside flatter-lie options.

Each head also comes with a 10g sole weight, which can be swapped for replacement weights from 2g to 16g to change swing weight and head feel.

The rescues are available in 2-hybrid (17 degrees), 3-hybrid (19 degrees), 4-hybrid (22 degrees), 5-hybrid (25 degrees) and 6-hybrid (28 degrees).

Srixon ZXi RKT Hybrids Review: Are They Any Good?

The ZXi RKT hybrids are an excellent upgrade and ideal for golfers who want an adjustable, compact long-iron replacement rather than an oversized rescue club.

Five lofts make the range useful throughout the top and middle of the bag, while the new hosel and replaceable sole weight provide genuine scope to tune a distance gap and weighting

You can expect a high, soft-landing flight and an excellent option as a long iron or fairway woods replacement.
