Swiss manufacturer TAG Heuer are known for quality and style and that is present in their first golf GPS watch as they look to take on the likes of Garmin and Bushnell in the sector.

The Connected Modular 45 range has been around for a while, but the new Golf Edition is now available and it comes with an accompanying smartphone app that is seriously impressive.

TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Golf Edition Watch

The Connected Modular watch boasts a touchscreen of 45mm in size and has data for more than 39,000 worldwide golf courses pre-loaded.

You get all of the key information to make an informed decision on the golf course, as well as a handy graphic of the hole too – something not readily available in all GPS watches.

The watch is made from shock-resistant materials, features a black ceramic bezel ring with 18 numbers engraved to signify the 18 holes of a golf round.

The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 can be connected to an accompanying smartphone app to analyse data. You can also use the app to view enhanced graphics while on the course using a bigger screen size.

The app is free to download and provides a 3D view of the course you are playing, compared to the 2D graphics displayed on the watch face.

The app is also set up to be used in conjunction with other TAG Heuer Connected Modular watches and not just the dedicated golf edition.

The watch comes with the promise of a 25-hour battery life, around six rounds of golf without charge, and has 4gb of storage. You can also send and receive messages and can play music if you wish.
