Titleist GT woods are new with improved versions the GT2 and GT3 replacing the TSR range, with the GT1 now added to the range.
Launched along with the GT drivers and GT hybrids, the GT2 and GT3 fairways replaced the TSR2 and TSR3 as Titleist’s premium woods offering when releases in 2024.
At the start of 2025, the lightweight GT1 model was added to the series to offer a new option for golfers with slower swing speeds as it replaces the TSR1 version.
Redesigned to provide more distance, optimised spin, increased ball speed and boast more forgiveness, the GT woods are the most complete model yet.
Titleist have managed to improve on the performance of the TSRs by introducing a new crown design, improved Forged L-Cup Face, higher launch, lower spin and more in this seriously impressive fairway family.
Titleist GT2 Fairway Woods Specs & Design
The Titleist GT2 fairway woods are designed to provide higher-flying distance with improved launch, spin, and forgiveness from any lie.
The replacement for the TSR2 woods, the new model has some notable tweaks to provide the all-round performance gains.
The GT2 fairways feature a revolutionary ultra-lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown design made from a Proprietary Matrix Polymer.

This innovative material allows for significant weight savings compared to previous models, enabling Titleist engineers to achieve crucial performance gains while maintaining the brand’s signature sound and feel.
Titleist have repositioned the center of gravity (CG) in the GT2 fairway woods, placing it deeper and more forward in the clubhead.
The tweaks helps generate maximum distance through higher launch and lower spin rate, allowing golfers to achieve optimal performance from any lie whether used from the tee box, fairway or rough.
A new forged L-Cup face insert has been incorporated into the club construction to help enhance performance on low-center impacts, preserving ball speed and maintaining launch conditions even from a tight lie.
Titleist have also refined the sole curvature in the GT2, flattening it to sit more flush with the ground. This modification not only inspires confidence at address but also improves forgiveness on toe and heel strikes.
The GT2 fairway woods are available in five loft options of 13.5 degrees, 15 degrees, 16.5 degrees, 18 degrees and 21 degrees. The SureFit hosel allows for 1.5 degrees of adjustability up and down.
Titleist GT3 Fairway Woods Specs & Design
The GT3 model from Titleist replaces the TSR3 as the players’ option with this version designed to provide precision-tuned performance, optimal customization and power and ball speed.
Like the GT2, the GT3 fairways feature the new Seamless Thermoform Crown, which is ultra-lightweight and made from a Proprietary Matrix Polymer.
The use of the new construction crown has allowed by significant weight to be saved and redistributed to help lower the CG and increase forgiveness compared to the TSR3.

The deeper CG promotes a higher trajectory, optimised ball flight and improved inertia that delivers the added forgiveness. Overall the GT3s produce consistently high launch with enhanced stability through impact.
Forged L-Cup Face technology is also key to the design to help deliver impressive ball speeds and distance regardless of where you strike from.
The GT3 fairway woods has a slightly more compact design than the GT2 and also feature the SureFit Adjustable CG Track System to customize setup for your ideal shot shape, whether that is draw, fade or neutral.
The GT3 fairway woods are available in three loft options of 15 degree, 16.5 degrees and 18 degrees and can be adjusted by 1.5 degrees up or down via the hosel.
Titleist GT1 Fairway Woods Specs & Design
The TSR1 fairways broke new ground as Titleist’s first model aimed as golfers with moderate to slow swing speeds and the GT1 is the successor.
Released along with a GT1 driver and hybrid, the GT1 woods are optimized for players with moderate swing speeds and those seeking higher launch and mid-spin performance.
The GT1 woods feature ultra-lightweight configurations with all unnecessary elements removed to facilitate effortless launch and speed for golfers who need it most.

The GT1 model boasts the deepest center of gravity placement across the GT metalwood family, promoting that higher launch and more carry and distance as a result.
A Seamless Thermoform Crown design made from Titleist’s Proprietary Matrix Polymer (PMP) allow for significant weight savings, while the Split Mass Construction redistributes weight internally for optimal performance.
The carbon crown and also has some tweaks to the shape for improved aerodynamics, while the new sole curvatures also help improve clubhead speed through the air.
Like the other models in the series, Titleist’s Speed Ring and VFT Technology helps produce consistent ball speeds across the face and adds to the forgiveness on offer.
The GT1 fairway woods are available in four loft options of 15 degree, 18 degrees, 21 degrees and 24 degrees and can be adjusted by 1.5 degrees up or down via the hosel.
Titleist GT Woods Review: Are they any good?
The TSR woods have been a huge success over the last couple of years and were always going to take some beating when it comes to a replacement.
The GT certainly delivers on the improvement levels and it is largely thanks to the new construction of the crown that Titleist have come up with.
The resulting weight savings and have enabled performance tweaks elsewhere in the design and gains in a huge number of area from distance to forgiveness as a result.
The GT2 is a great all-round with plenty of forgiveness and speed through the bag, as well as more loft options, but the GT3 with a CG track system is the choice if you are looking for adaptability in setup.
The newly added GT1 fairways build on the solid introduction that the lightweight TSR1 enjoyed and are the perfect option for golfers with slower swing speeds.
