WTGL Players Revealed As Five LPGA Stars Sign Up

The first players have been signed for the inaugural WTGL with Jeeno Thitikul, Charley Hull, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson and Lexi Thompson committing to the league.

After the success of the TGL, co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, the first-ever WTGL will be launched at the end of 2026.

TMRW Sports, the company behind the TGL and WTGL, have moved quickly to snap up their first names for the women’s league.

The first five players have been signed on the dotted line with world number one Thitikul, Hull, Ko, Henderson and Thompson all committing to play in the debut season of WTGL.

“WTGL will be a global stage to showcase LPGA Tour stars, and this first wave of committed players represents that opportunity with some of the world’s best,” said Mike McCarley, founder and CEO, TMRW Sports.

Seven-time LPGA Tour winner Thitikul ended 2025 by going back-to-back at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, and her first act of 2026 is to sign with WTGL.

Hull is one of the most popular players in the world and the three-time LPGA and seven-time Solheim Cup star will bring her personality to the screens.

Another to sign up is Ko, an LPGA Hall of Famer and former World No. 1 who has 23 LPGA Tour victories, three major championships and three Olympic medals to her name.

Canada’s Henderson is no stranger to success with 14 LPGA Tour victories and two major championships to her name.

Thompson might have semi-retired from professional golf but she will be part of the WTGL as a new chapter to her career – one that has yielded 11 LPGA Tour victories and one major championship – begins.
