Ludvig Aberg: What’s In The Bag
What is in Ludvig Aberg's bag?
Ludvig Aberg secured his maiden professional victory when lifting the title at the Omega European Masters in August 2023. A look at Ludvig Aberg: What’s In The Bag.
Former world number one amateur Aberg only turned professional in June 2023 but is already a winner after recording a two-shot victory in the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.
Aberg defeated fellow Swede Alexander Bjork in the DP World Tour event after finishing on 19-under at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club.
Aberg had a glittering collegiate career in the United States, including winning the Ben Hogan Award in 2022 and 2023. He is just the second player to do so after Jon Rahm.
His tournament victories included the Sun Bowl All-America Classic in 2019, Jones Cup Invitational, The Prestige and Thunderbird Collegiate in 2021 and The Prestige and Big 12 Men’s Championship in 2022.
In 2023 before turning professional, Aberg defended The Prestige and Big 12 Men’s Championship titles and also won the Valspar Collegiate and NCAA Norman Regional.
Before the win in Switzerland, Aberg was ranked 200th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
