The 2024 Masters will take place at Augusta National from April 11-14 as the first major of the season.

The 2024 Masters will be the 88th edition of the major with Jon Rahm the defending champion having won his first Augusta title in 2023.

Rahm got his hands on the green jacket for the first time with a dominant four-shot victory at Augusta in 2023 over Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson.

The Masters will continue to take place at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. It remains the only one of golf’s majors not to rotate between venues.

There are no planned changes to the Augusta National golf course ahead of the 2024 tournament.

Who is the reigning Masters champion?

Jon Rahm claimed his second major title when winning the 2023 Masters by four shots in April.

Rahm opened the tournament with a four-putt double bogey, but did let it affect him as he ended the opening round as the co-leader following a seven-under par 65.

The Spaniard then posted rounds of three-under 69, one-over 73 and a closing three-under 69 to win comfortably by four shots from playing partner Koepka and Mickelson.

It was Rahm’s second career major having won the 2021 US Open. His Masters victory also returned him to the world number one spot.
