The 2025 Chevron Championship golf features a total prize money fund of $8 million for the first of the year’s women’s majors.

The Chevron Championship is the first of five majors taking place in 2025 and is staged at the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at The Woodlands in Texas.

The event was first held in 1972 and was elevated to major status in 1983. It was previously played at the Mission Hills Country Club in California before moving to Texas in 2023.

The Chevron Championship has prize money is $8 million, an increase of $100,000 on the $7.9 million awarded in 2024 when Nelly Korda was crowned champion.

The winner will earn $1.2 million for victory in Texas.
