The event is played on the Harbour Tour Golf Links in South Carolina, and is the latest event of 2026 PGA Tour season and the first since The Masters.
It is one of the Signature Events of the schedule with the $20 million prize pool attraction a top class field to Hilton Head.
The RBC Heritage was first held in 1969 when known as the Heritage Golf Classic. It has also been known as the Sea Pines Heritage Classic, MCI Heritage Golf Classic, Worldcom Classic and Verizon Heritage.
Justin Thomas is the reigning champion after winning the RBC Heritage in 2025 and is among the leading 2026 RBC Heritage contenders.

RBC Heritage will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Harbour Town Golf Links with no cut and all 72 players making the weekend.
- Day 1 – Thursday, April 16
- Day 2 – Friday, April 17
- Day 3 – Saturday, April 18
- Day 4 – Sunday, April 19
The RBC Heritage tournament carries a total prize fund of $20,000,000.
