Matt Fitzpatrick What's In The Bag

Matt Fitzpatrick claimed victory in the Valspar Championship for his first win of the year in March 2026. A look at Matt Fitzpatrick: What’s In The Bag.

A week after being denied by a shot in The Players Championship, Fitzpatrick made an immediate response by landing the title at the 2026 Valspar Championship.

The Englishman finished on 11-under par at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course for a one-shot success over David Lipsky.

It was Fitzpatrick’s third PGA Tour win after the US Open in June 2022 for his sole major success, and the 2023 RBC Heritage.

Fitzpatrick now has 12 career victories in total with a further nine on the DP World Tour.

He won the 2015 British Masters, 2016 Nordea Masters, 2016, 2020 and 2025 DP World Tour Championship, 2017 and 2018 Omega European Masters, 2021 Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters and 2023 Dunhill Links Championship.

Fitzpatrick has been part of the victorious European Team at the 2023 and 2025 Ryder Cup and on the losing side in 2016 and 2021.
