Adrian Meronk created history as he became the first Polish winner of a DP World Tour event with victory in the Irish Open in July 2022. A look at Adrian Meronk: What’s In The Bag.
Meronk shot a final round six-under to finish on 20-under for the week at Mount Juliet and lift the Irish Open title.
The Polish star finished three shots clear of the consistent Ryan Fox after posting an eagle and two birdies late in his round to shoot clear of the field.
Meronk’s only previous professional victory came in the Open de Portugal on the Challenge Tour in 2019. That win helped earn him his European Tour card.
The win in the Irish Open moved Meronk up to 64th in the Official Golf World Rankings from 110th the previous week.
