Alexandra Forsterling secured up her third Ladies European Tour victory when winning the Aramco Team Series Tampa title in March 2024. A look at Alexandra Forsterling: What’s In The Bag.
The young German, also known as Lexi, is playing on her second season on tour following a collegiate career in the United States and added to two wins in her debut campaign in 2023.
At the first of the Aramco Team Series events of 2024, Forsterling finished on 12-under for the three rounds to defeat Charley Hull by three shots.
Forsterling won the Swiss Ladies Open victory in September 2023, finishing two shots clear of Madelene Stavnar.
Her second win came in the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open in November 2023 when the German recorded a dominant five-shot win over Trichat Cheenglab.
Forsterling turned professional in 2023 after a successful college career at the Arizona State University. She won the 2022 Ping/ASU Invitational before heading home to the Ladies European Tour.
Forsterling had a rich amateur career, winning the 2014 European Young Masters, the Berlin Open in 2016, 2017 and 2019 and the 2021 German International Amateur.
She also represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2014 and an international team in the 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup.
Forsterling has also carried the Germany colours in the 2014 European Young Masters, 2017 World Junior Girls Championship, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 European Girls’ Team Championship, 2020, 2021, 2022 European Ladies’ Team Championship and 2022 Espirito Santo Trophy.
