The Austrian had not been victorious since 2021, but returned to the winners’ circle with a three shot win over Adrian Otaegui in Shanghai.

Wiesberger shot a final round of four-under par to finish 19-under to comfortably win the 2026 Volvo China Open at Enhance Anting Golf Club.

Wiesberger now has nine DP World Tour wins in the Ballantine’s Championship and Lyoness Open in 2021, Open de France in 2015, Shenzhen International in 2017, Made in Denmark in 2019 and 2021 and Scottish Open and Italian Open in 2019.

He is also a Ryder Cup player having been part of the 2021 European Team.
