Cleveland RTZ wedges have been unveiled with the new 2025 model featuring Satin, Black and Tour Rack Raw versions.
The new RTZ wedges broke cover for the first time when the Tour Rack model was used at the Shriners Children’s Open on the PGA Tour in October 2024, and were officially launched in January 2025.
The series features Satin, Black Satin and Tour Rack colour options with the latter the raw model, and have been crafted from a new Z-Alloy material.
The revolutionary new steel makes the RTZ wedges 10% softer than the previous RTX 6 ZipCore wedges, improving feel and allowing for better center of gravity placement.
Cleveland RTZ Wedges Design & Specs
The new RTZ wedges for 2025 featuring innovative technologies and design elements to enhance performance across three models the RTZ Satin, RTZ Tour Rack and RTZ Black Satin
The key design change from the RTX6 series is the use of Z-Alloy, a revolutionary new less dense 8620 steel that makes these wedges 10% softer than the previous model.

As a result, Cleveland have managed to improve feel on those all-important approach play shots, while the center of gravity placement has been optimized thanks to weight savings from proprietary low-density core technology.
The face on the RTZ wedges features dynamic blast and laser-milled line patterns designed to maximize spin in both dry and wet conditions.
Sharper, deeper and more tightly spaced grooves also help enhance spin, control and consistency and are especially effective from challenging lies.

The RTZ wedges again incorporate ZipCore technology, a lightweight core material that repositions mass for improved consistency.
The wedges also feature HydraZip and UltiZip technologies for enhanced spin and control, especially in wet conditions and are designed to rust over time for a signature tour look.
The wedges come in four sole grind options with Low, Mid, Full and a new Adapt grind, which has full face grooves and a higher toe profile, available to suit the needs of a variety of golfers.

The RTZ wedges comes in lofts range from 46 degrees (pitching wedge equivalent) to 64 degrees (lob wedge). Cleveland have added 62 and 64 degree lofts for the first time.
Cleveland RTZ Wedges Review: Are they any good?
The RTZ are an interesting new addition for 2025 and they are certainly a step up on the RTX6 range that preceded them.
The softness of these wedges is noticeable thanks to the new alloy material and give a fair superior feel around the greens.
The introduction of the customizable raw Tour Rack wedges and the new full face groove Adapt grind have opened the series up a wider range of golfers than before.
All in all, the RTZs are an excellent addition to the marketplace for 2025 and well worth coming under consideration.
