American Spaun recorded a one-shot victory in the 2026 Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour in April, edging out Michael Kim, Matt Wallace and Robery MacIntyre by a shot.
It was a two-shot win for Spaun at Wentworth as he claimed a first DP World Title in September from Aaron Rai, Rory McIlroy, Manuel Elvira and Adam Scott.
Spaun’s breakthrough win came with a first Valero Texas Open success with his maiden PGA Tour title in 2022.
He then recorded dramatic two-shot win in the 2025 US Open, in which he birdied the final two holes – including a monster 64-foot putt on the closing hole – to beat Robert McIntyre at Oakmont.
Spaun’s previous wins came on the now-Korn Ferry Tour in the 2016 News Sentinel Open and on the PGA Tour Canada in the 2015 Staal Foundation Open.
